Why is our seafood better than other 'Railroad'?
We partnered with a failing downtown restaurant, agreeing that if it didn’t work, we'd keep what we brought—recipes and concepts for us, buildings and bookkeeping for them. The partnership ended badly, and our lawsuit to stop them from using our recipes was dismissed on a technicality. They've since opened a new restaurant using our concept, but as many customers have noted, their expertise remains just in the building and bookkeeping. Now you can choose wisely.

"If you've ever dined at a Texas BBQ joint, you're familiar with family-style ordering. We've brought that concept to seafood! It's perfect for large groups and families—order shrimp, fish, and oysters by the pound or half-pound, prepared just how you like: fried, grilled, blackened, or broiled. To keep things efficient, we ask groups of 15 or more to order family-style. Trust us, you won't be disappointed!"

Yes, where available. We've been buying our produce from the same local vendor for almost 20 years. You can find Roland at the produce stand started by his father, Frank, on Baldwin St in Corpus Christi. Charlie Alegria has been our fish monger and serenader for close to 10 years. Many locals will remember the store he operated in Corpus for decades, Morgan St Seafood. Shrimp is our most popular commodity, and we tend to shop for the best quality and deals we can find to pass that on to you.
